Permission (in the form of a licence) is only needed if the skip is to be located on a public road. Your local council will charge a fee for this, which varies depending on the borough in which you live.
In some cases, you will need to arrange a licence before the skip can be ordered, in others, WOODSIDE will be happy to do this for you, providing you give at least 24 hours' notice.
Skips on the road must be lit and it is the hirer's responsibility to provide the lights. Merton and Lambeth councils need 5 days' notice to issue a licence. Please allow for this period when ordering your skip.
We accept cash, cheques, and all major credit and debit cards.
WOODSIDE Containers will refund cancelled skip orders in full, providing at least 24 hours of notice is given. If a road licence has already been ordered, however, the local authority will not refund the fee and you will still be charged.
